Bahman Ghassemzadeh is the founder and principal of BG Design Build. Based in Hillsborough, he works across the San Francisco Peninsula and San Francisco on custom homes, substantial renovations, additions, and accessory dwelling units.
His professional background connects structural engineering with the practical work of planning and building. Since beginning his engineering career in 2007, he has worked on feasibility studies, design coordination, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration.

Bahman studied Architectural Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a minor in Construction Management. He began his career at Nishkian Menninger Consulting Engineers and later became a partner at SIA Consulting Corporation. Today, his work through BG Design Build brings that experience to residential projects from early planning through field execution.
